Your Child's Teacher
Hey! I'm Klarice, but only my father calls me that, most people call me Klair, but the kids call me TT! Please take this time to learn a bit about me before moving on. I grew up in rural WI and graduated in a class of one hundred. I moved to Ely, MN to pursue a degree in Parks and Recreation then quickly realized, I love nature as a hobby but not as a career. I graduated with an Associates in Arts, took a gap year to work in a child care center and as a nanny before moving to Pocatello, ID to obtain another associates degree,
this time in Early Childhood Care and Education. Wanting to also obtain a Bachelors degree, I transferred one more time to Moscow, ID but ended up with a degree in General Studies where I was able to create my own degree focusing on child development and business. During these 3.5 years I continued to work in child care. After graduation, and realizing centers were not my happy place, I spent some time working as a nanny. This is where "TT" comes from. The mother knew Klarice, let alone Klair, was difficult for her 15 month old to say so she suggested "Kay-Kay". Well, the little one pronounced that as "Tah-Tah" which quickly evolved into "TT!" The whole family adopted it and so did I! After settling down in Andover in 2016 with my husband, Paul, whom I meet in Ely, I worked on starting up Monarch Hollow and taught Swimming Lessons at Foss in Blaine! Ever since my work study helping out a preschool teacher in Ely back in 2009, I've been realizing kids just don't get enough time. Time to play. Time to make choices. Time to practice. Time to grow. Time to explore. Time to create. Time to just be a kid.
Also, I love crocheting with 100% natural fibers, felting, hiking, swimming with my 2 kids, and traveling.
